Also, the number of antioxidants in soy milk is higher than that of animal milk. Many manufacturers of plant-based milk fortify milk with calcium and other nutrients.
Common Plant-Based Milks
This plant-based milk is created from soybeans or soy protein isolate. 240 ml of soy milk contains 4 g carbohydrates, 4-4.5 g of protein, etc.
As the name suggests, almond milk is made from almonds or almond butter. One cup of unsweetened almond milk contains 2.5 g of fat, 1 g of protein, 30-35 calories, etc.
Oat milk is made from mixing oats with water. It has a sweet and mild flavor and contains 4.5-5 grams of fat and 19-29 g of carbohydrates.
